*spark was an online publication that for two years featured some happenin’ writers doing interesting work. (And, me.) If you have a moment, you should check it out. These are the articles I originally wrote for *spark v1. I started writing about technology. I ended up writing about film. It’s not surprising, really: these are two of the larger poles around which my life has revolved. The articles were published between 2000 and 2002.
