Thank you, Grey Poupon Pants, for signing up for The Daily Me. Our search engine has combed the Internet for up to the minute news items that fit the profile you have so painstakingly filled out for us. Then, we weighted the probability that you would be interested in these articles against forms which showed what people with tastes similar to yours have liked reading in the past. And, then, we were asked why we have, in the past, sometimes gone to prostitutes. And we replied: because it’s cheaper than seeing a psychotherapist, and it’s easier to get an appointment. And prostitutes hardly ever smugly quote Freud at us.
Enjoy,

Music To Benjamin Netanyahu’s Ears
Sheeran Heart Attack
Ed Sheeran, Ed Sheeran,
What is it that ye be fearin’?
The singer Macklemore
Who was on your American tour
Said maybe Israel shouldn’t be killing babies
Stadium owner Robert Kraft
Whose views on Israel are incredibly daft
Treated the musician like he had rabies
Ed Sheeran, Ed Sheeran,
What is it that ye be fearin’
As from your tour Macklemore be disappearin’?
Eh, Ed Sheeran, Ed Sheeran?
Bob told Ed,
“Your tour is dead,
If you don’t drop the antisemite.'”
Ed had an opportunity to be brave,
Instead, his career he chose to save,
And responded, “Yeah, alright.”
Ed Sheeran, Ed Sheeran,
What is it that ye be fearin’?
Don’t you know it’s a genocide ye be cheerin’
Huh, Ed Sheeran, Ed Sheeran?
The tour could not go ahead as planned,
For Ed ended up losing his backup band
Who were all disgusted by his decision.
“By any measure
You shouldn’t give in to political pressure –
It shows a horrible lack of moral vision!”
Ed Sheeran, Ed Sheeran,
What is it that ye be fearin’?
Don’t you know a moral abyss is where ye be veerin’?
Ed Sheeran, Ed Sheeran?

To Be Fair, I’m Not Rex Or Fluffy, And I’m Terrified
Kash Patel has never seemed all that comfortable as FBI Director. He doesn’t have Scott Bessent’s ability to warmly lie directly to your face. He doesn’t have Howard Lutnick’s manic dishonesty. He doesn’t have Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s ability to shout outrage on command. He doesn’t have Linda McMahon’s ability to become invisible. All he has are wildly roaming eyes that make him look like a squirrel caught in headlights. Given this, you would think he would have the sense to stay away from controversial positions.
Like bestiality. Apparently, he’s for it.
Patel allowed in a Senate hearing that people who have committed bestiality probably, on balance, if you think about it long enough, shouldn’t be allowed to serve in government. Except for those who were “trafficked into it.”
If I were Rex or Fluffy, I would be scared. I would be very scared.

The CBC Hasn’t Adopted American Spelling On Its Web Site, But You Have To Know That The Press Release Announcing It Has Been Written
The CBC has dropped a longstanding policy of not using the term “terrorism” to describe 9/11 unless quoting an official source.
“We are doing so to remove what has unfortunately…become an impediment to clarity and public understanding,” wrote Basem Boshra, the CBC’s director of journalistic standards and public trust.
Translated from the bureaucratese, what Boshra actually meant was: “American far right politicians and media figures were butt hurt because the CBC didn’t use their jingoistic language, and Prime Minister Carney didn’t want this to become another flash point in our economic/culture war with the United States. So, yeah. Journalistic ethics and stuff. Yadda yadda yadda.”

When You Want A Job Done Right, Don’t Settler For Just Anybody To Do It
Several retired Israeli generals and other military officers who toured the ruins of some areas of the West Bank are now arguing that settler violence is a threat to Israel’s future. “This is ethnic cleansing, to put it simply,” one general commented.
To everybody’s surprise, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu agreed. “We absolutely cannot have the settler’s attacking West Bank Arabs,” he stated. “The settlers are undisciplined and inefficient, so they’re going to take forever to finish the job. They really should leave the death and destruction to the Israeli army!”

Well, One Coach Is, At Any Rate…
High School basketball coaches are considering instituting new rules to allow students who have been forced to wear ankle monitors by the Trump administration after it revoked their temporary protected status to continue playing. Among the measures being studied are: opposing players having to stand at least a foot away from players wearing ankle monitors; a special lane on one side of the court dedicated to only students wearing ankle monitors; and, designated homes players could hide in if ICE comes looking for them.
“Jacques Blanc is the best player on our team!” moaned GaryGreg Sicklesell, coach of the Lehigh as a Kite Laughing Badgers. “We shouldn’t be punished just because he came from Haiti and President Trump has a hate on for that country. The rules I’m suggesting are just a way of levelling the playing field until common sense returns to the government.”
When asked when he thought that would be, Sicklesell responded, “I hope before Jacques gets his PhD!”

Read More, Scroll Less – Because Our Business Model Kind Of Depends On It
Hi. I’m Heather – no last names, please. It’s bad enough people know me as Heather. The wrong people, if you know what I mean. Troublemakers. I’m the chief book pusher at Indigo, where we’re trying to get people to read more, scroll less. Looking for a fantastic holiday read? Why not try Girl Amok by Rachel Ben-Barshalam. It’s the heartwarming tale of young Tzippi from Mississauga who is sponsored by the Heseg Foundation to study in Israel, where she has madcap adventures shooting Palestinian children and even falls for a young Israeli soldier she destroys Palestinian villages with. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll be late for dinner. Look for Girl Amok among the shelves of your nearest Indigo. Read more. Scroll less. Because what you can read online can challenge my politics.
