While I doubt my friends need to hear this, I feel the need to say it anyway: morality, like love, should be considered a verb as well as a noun. Morality should be judged by what you do, not what you say. It’s easy to say you are a moral person when you don’t have anything to lose by staking a claim to a moral position; the only true test of morality is that you act on your beliefs even if they cost you something.
