After three rejections this year, I finally have an acceptance! (To be fair, the rejections didn’t sting too badly: two were of the “please send us something else” kind, and one may even lead to an anthology editing gig. But still: rejections.)
I shouldn’t name the publication until the contract is signed, but rest assured that I will talk a lot about it as soon as the ink dries. At this point, I can say that it’s nice that, after all of these years and publications, I can still be excited by an acceptance.
