Thank you, The Canoedler, for signing up for The Daily Me. Our search engine has combed the Internet for up to the minute news items that fit the profile you have so painstakingly filled out for us. Then, we weighted the probability that you would be interested in these articles against forms which showed what people with tastes similar to yours have liked reading in the past. And, then, we tried to imagine how it would be possible to believe that Israel is not committing genocide in Gaza. To achieve this, you would have to believe that all the video and images of dead men, women and children had been faked. You would also have to believe that all the video and images showing Gaza to be a desolate, bombed out moonscape had been faked. You would have to further believe that all of the eyewitness testimony of the death and destruction are lies told by people who were paid. You would have to believe, moreover, that international courts that have issued arrest warrants for high Israeli officials for war crimes were motivated by anti-Semitism. And of course, you would have to believe that scholars of genocide, including those who have studied the Holocaust, who have concluded that what Israel is doing in Gaza is a massive war crime, don't know what they're talking about.
Sounds reasonable to us. Sorry for all of the mean things we said in the past about Israel and Zionism. To make up for it, we would be happy to accept an all-expenses paid trip to Israel - to learn the extent of our error, of course. We expect our plane tickets in the mail...
Enjoy,

Last month saw the creation of the Progressive Champions PAC, which claims on its web site that its mission is to "elect bold, progressive candidates up and down the ballot." As it happens, the super PAC is actually a Republican Party front group.
And I thought Republicans didn't believe in cross-dressing...

Accusations Of Abuse Have Been Made By The CNN Commentators Who Have To Work With Jennings
Hostage negotiations between CNN and Fox News are almost complete. An announcement of a guest swap, Jessica Tarlov for Scott Jennings, is expected in the next day or two.
"This would be a great achievement for both networks," said CNN media analyst Brian Stelter. "Tarlov and Jennings were captured in tit-for-tat media actions years ago, and both have been releasing videos ever since. The videos appear to show them happy in their captivity, but hostage negotiators tell me that there are subtextual signs that they want to be returned to their native networks."
No date has been announced for the exchange, but negotiators on both sides have said it will happen "in two weeks."

Where Are The Tree Amigos When You Need Them?
The Galen Foundation has pledged to donate $93 million to transform Queen's Park North. Its plan includes new buildings, a cafe and washrooms.
What about the park part?
"There. Right there. You see that dot in the top corner? That's where the park will be," said Councillor Dianne Sax, pointing to an area on a map of the development. When asked how many trees could fit into that dot, Councillor Sax admitted, "Three. But they're big ones."
When the councillor was asked if an area can still be considered a park if it loses most of its trees, she replied: "For $93 million, you can stick a branch up my ass and call me a tree!"

"Despite The Fact That They Would Not Disrupt The Walk In The Least, We Beat Them Anyway," One Of The Arresting Officers Commented. "It's A Matter Of Respect For Authority..."
Toronto's annual Walk for Genocide, which winds its way through the downtown core to raise funds for Israel, took place without a hitch this weekend.
"It just shows how much Torontonians support the idea that Israel has a right to defend itself by killing all the people in a region for having the audacity of living for millennia on our land," commented enthusiastic Walk for Genocide participant Schmuel Schmendrick. "I'm touched by the generosity of Canadians, and want you to know how grateful we are for all the white phosphorus your contributions will buy."
Three anti-Walk for Genocide protesters were arrested, but since the police had pushed them to a spot in Etobicoke, they did not interrupt the event.
